Leonardo's Ellipsograph: Geometric Construction and Locus

This applet demonstrates Leonardo's ellipsograph (Trammel of Archimedes). Using sliders to control point movement on a segment, it generates an ellipse via the Locus command. It intuitively shows how perpendicular slots and a fixed-length rod draw an ellipse, covering coordinate geometry, locus, and polygon construction. A classic tool for conic sections.
