Surface of Revolution: Generating a Sphere

This GeoGebra applet demonstrates generating a sphere by rotating a semicircle around its diameter. Using commands like Semicircle, Rotate, and Surface, it constructs the shape and its axis. A parameter controls the rotation angle to dynamically build the spherical surface. It is an excellent visual aid for understanding solids of revolution in solid geometry and calculus.
