Construction and Properties of the Orthocenter of a Triangle

This applet demonstrates the geometric construction of the orthocenter of a triangle. Given the three vertices, orthogonal lines are constructed to represent the altitudes to each side. The intersection of these altitudes determines the orthocenter. It visually illustrates the definition and position of the orthocenter, suitable for teaching special points in plane geometry.
