Extrema Symmetric About the Inflection Point

This applet demonstrates the mathematical property that the local extrema of a function are symmetric with respect to its inflection point. By graphing the function and identifying the extrema and inflection point, it uses geometric constructions such as intersections and orthogonal lines to visually verify this symmetry. Ideal for teaching and exploring calculus and function graph analysis.
